About me:

Hi, I’m Jill. I love working with others and always have. It can take courage to be in therapy. And I believe that if we can experience trauma and pain, then we can experience peace and healing, too.

For over 14 years, I have treated adults, adolescents, children, and parents. My approach offers a down-to-earth quality, creating comfort and compassion in the therapeutic relationship.

Throughout my career, I have deepened my understanding of the nervous system, both brain hemispheres, and several eastern medicine healing modalities to complement my social work roots. I blend traditional talk therapy with practices that honor the wisdom of the body and the intuitive guidance of emotions. My clinical skills provide a framework for clients to experience inner healing—ranging anywhere from treating chronic and acute symptoms; to providing a safe container to reprocess the past; to exploring self-growth and spiritual wellness.

Background:

As a clinician, I have worked in several mental health settings on both the East and West Coast. I have experience in several outpatient settings, private practice, and intensive in-home family therapy with youth and their parents.

By collaborating with individual and family systems, juvenile probation, IEP teams, and county mental health programs, I developed many of my specialties: EMDR, (t)Trauma-informed care, and attachment healing at all ages.

What’s the limbic system?

Certain life experiences can change our perceptions and our presence.

Being present means to be in our body. Being present brings us joy.
